Financial Analyst
Summit Business Media is hiring for a Financial Analyst in their Erlanger, KY office.? Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, financial statement variance analysis, forecasting, trend analysis, and budgeting.? This position works closely with divisional business managers as well as upper management.
Responsibilities:
Produce and publish financial statements upon monthly close
Analysis of financial statements
Compile monthly reporting packages for distribution
Collect and analyze data
Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Prepare company-wide allocation entries upon monthly close
Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed
Assist in annual budget process
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision
Assist with annual audit as needed
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum 1-2 years? experience (reporting/analysis a plus)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)
ERP systems experience (Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus)
Reporting software experience (Microsoft FRx / Management Reporter a plus)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collect financial data and present it in a format appropriate for senior management
Ability to design and maintain various financial reports
