SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) ? Important decisions pet owners can make on behalf of their animals to ensure a healthy new year for them ? that?s the topic of this Animal Update with Dr. Jack Aldridge of the San Francisco SPCA.
Hard to believe, but it?s 2012 and that means we?re making New Year?s resolutions ? not just for ourselves but for our pets.
?If you haven?t already done so, choose a good veterinarian for your pet,? Aldridge advised. ?One you trust, one who listens and is responsible. And, a yearly wellness checkup for both cats and dogs, which includes a medical and dental examination, is a proactive way to ensure your pet?s health for the new year.?
