Green Man Gaming And Playfire Merged | Airborne Gamer


Green Man Gaming,??Europe?s fastest-growing independent games retailer, has today announced its merger with the Playfire?gaming community.

Playfire has more than one million gamers signed up to its free service, which allows members to track their gameplay across Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live ? enabling them to see what their friends are playing and buying.? Gamers can also share their views on the hottest games with the rest of Playfire?s passionate community.

As part of the new deal, Playfire founder Kieran O?Neill will take a significant stake in the expanded Green Man Gaming company and will take a consultancy role in the future development of the service.? In the coming months, Playfire will benefit from a number of new enhancements and the community will have the ability to sign-in easily to GMG with their Playfire account and vice-versa.

The Playfire service will operate alongside Green Man Gaming?s successful digital retail business, which currently sells more than 1,000 PC titles at the best possible price, from over 100 publishers to gamers in at least 155 countries around the world.?? Green Man Gaming is the only online games retailer to allow trade-ins of selected digitally downloaded titles for money off new titles.
